He lives on the edge of darkness, going by his own modified code of ethics in a town where reality is a punch to the gut, a bullet in the chamber of a .38, or a fifth of Jack. In a city of smoke and fog, where moral ambiguity is the norm and danger lurks around every corner, will this worn-out former boxer be able to sleep at night, knowing what he's become?
